Pelham, NY – May 30, 2025 – The Junior League of Pelham (JLP), in collaboration with the Village of Pelham, is thrilled to announce the grand reopening of Woodland Park Playground. After a month-long closure for the installation of new play equipment, the park is now open to the public, offering a revitalized space for children and families to enjoy.
The recent enhancements mark the first phase of a comprehensive initiative to modernize Woodland Park, focusing on accessibility, safety, and sustainability. The newly installed play structures are designed to be inclusive, catering to children of all ages and abilities. Future phases, scheduled for completion over the summer months and into the fall of 2025, will introduce eco-friendly features, native plantings, shaded seating areas, and additional equipment to foster an open and environmentally conscious play space.
Woodland Park Playground is located on Wolfs Lane in the Village of Pelham and is open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
