The Pelham Larks welcome the community to join them for a special afternoon performance at Huguenot Memorial Church in Pelham Manor, on Sunday, November 9th at 4:00pm. The program will include highlights from their repertoire, including a cappella and piano accompanied arrangements.
Special Guests will be The AcaPelicans from Pelham Memorial High School. Founded in 2016, the AcaPelicans first joined the Pelham Larks at their 70th Anniversary Concert in 2022 and again last year for a holiday concert. “The Larks are delighted to welcome back these talented young singers to join us in celebrating the art of a cappella singing!”
The Pelham Larks began in 1952 as a project of the Junior League of Pelham. Today the Larks, an accomplished group of 18 women from Pelham and the surrounding communities, sing a cappella and with musical accompaniment for audiences “from 2 to 92” under the direction of Kathryn Jones, Director of Music Ministries at Huguenot Memorial Church.
Suggested donation: $20 adults, $10 seniors over 65, free for children and students. Refreshments will be served following the performance. All proceeds benefit Music at Huguenot.
