Maria L. Correa De Cardona of New Rochelle, NY, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025. She was 95 years old.

Born in Briceño, Colombia, to Juan and Maria, she was one of eight siblings. Maria met her  husband, Hector, and together they raised eleven children.

Later in life, Maria followed one of her sons to the United States, where she spent her later years surrounded by the love and care of her family. She was a devoted and supportive mother and grandmother, and great grandmother, her family was truly everything to her.

Maria will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister, and numerous friends who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Maria’s life will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY 10803.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, located at 83 Clove Road, New Rochelle, NY.
