The Picture House Regional Film Center is bringing the ultimate cult classic back to the big screen this Halloween season! Join us for a limited engagement of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, screening October 31 through November 4 at 7 PM at The Picture House Pelham.
First released in 1975, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has captivated audiences for decades with its outrageous blend of science fiction, campy humor, unforgettable songs, and audience participation that transformed it into a global phenomenon.
The film follows sweethearts Brad and Janet, who, stranded with a flat tire during a storm, stumble upon the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a self-proclaimed “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.” Inside, they meet an unforgettable cast of wild characters – including a rocking biker and a creepy butler – and watch as Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named Rocky.
“There’s nothing quite like watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show with a crowd – singing, shouting, and dancing along,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House Regional Film Center. “It’s a tradition that celebrates cinema, community, and the pure joy of shared experience – and Halloween weekend is the perfect time to do the Time Warp again!” Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen – with costumes encouraged, sing-alongs, and all the Halloween-weekend fun you can handle.
