Forum featuring all Village of Pelham candidates to be held Wednesday in PMHS Alumni Hall
All the candidates running in the Village of Pelham election March 19 will participate in a candidate forum on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Pelham Memorial High School Alumni Hall (on the ground floor across from the gym).
The discussion is being co-sponsored by the Pelham Examiner and the Pelham Plus.
Candidates will each give two-minute opening statements followed by questions from the audience. Each question can be directed to any candidate and a response from the other party is allowed.
Pelham Plus Editor Maggie Klein will moderate. Timekeepers from the Pelham Examiner will restrict answers to arranged guidelines.
The forum can be viewed on the cable channels of the school district and village and on Pelham Plus throughout the weekend before the election.
The Republican and Village Party candidates are Candice Ripoll for mayor and Stephen Doka, Arthur Long and LeRoy Marriott for trustee.
The Democratic and Pelham Forward Party candidates are Chance Mullen for mayor and Ariel Spira-Cohen, Lisa Hill-Ries and Mike Carpenter for trustee.
