Proposition 1 question left off of Village of Pelham absentee ballots because of printing error
Proposition 1, which is a referendum to move future village elections to the month of November, was left off of absentee ballots for the Village of Pelham because of a printing error, according to the Westchester County Board of Elections. The Board of Elections has sent out replacement ballots containing Proposition 1 to all those who requested absentee ballots.
The second set of ballots were scheduled to arrive March 14 or 15. Residents can still request to vote by absentee ballot by going in person to the Board of Elections office on March 18.
The Westchester County Board of Elections could not be reached for comment about the printing error.
Information about the Board of Elections office can be found here. Elections in the Village of Pelham will take place on March 19.
