Pelham rugby starts strong with 4-1 record, 3-0 in league play
The Pelham Memorial High School rugby team has kicked off the season with a 4 and 1 record, including 3 wins in league play, according to a press release from the team. The team is 1 and 1 when facing division 1 opponents.
Last week, the Pelicans competed against the Harvey School at Glover Field, winning 33-7, the release said. They defeated perennial rival Rye as well.
The team’s next game will be on April 28 at Glover Field at 3:30 p.m. against Dwight Academy.
