PMHS girls varsity golf outstanding so far this season with a 6-2 record

The Pelham Memorial High School girls varsity golf team has had an outstanding season, winning six matches and losing only two thus far. Up until the beginning of May, the team was undefeated with a 6-0 record.

“Pelham girls varsity golf has had such a successful season because of the bond within our team, and the hard work we have put in on the course. Our record this season is such an improvement from last season, which has been an exciting achievement for this team,” said Daly Walsh.

This team started as only four girls on the boys varsity golf team, but now, there is a total of sixteen girls on a separate team. Not only has the team grown tremendously, but the players themselves have grown individually.

Catherine Taubner and Sara Veteri, who have been on the team since it’s start, have both had successful seasons and are both are very impressive players, along with the rest of the team. Watch out for this team full of talent and perseverance as they finish off their season.
