“The Pelham Fire Department debuts its new 2019 Spartan Smeal Pumper at the Memorial Day Parade. The new pumper truck replaces a nearly 22-year-old Seagrave pumper that served the village since 1998. The new truck features all the latest NFPA required safety features like anti-lock brakes, passenger and drivers air bags to name a few. It’s is equipped to handle almost any emergency with the most up-to-date rescue equipment, including the Jaws-of-Life for vehicle accidents and life saving-medical equipment like a cardiac defibrillator. Be sure to stop by the Pelham Firehouse on Fifth Avenue to have an up close look after the parade.”
