PMHS rugby players named among best in nation
The prestigious high school sports coverage website Florugby—a subsidiary of online sports coverage company Flosports—recently named five members of the New York State Championship winning Pelham rugby team to a top ten list by each position, according to a release provided by the team. Alex Goff at Florugby compiled the list, which named the top ten players at each position in the U.S.
The following Pelham player’s names were included on the list, according to the release:
- Jeremy Camiguel- prop
- Sean O’Brien- hooker
- Ajdin Pelinkovic- flanker
- Nick Lapponese- 8 man
- Philip Dulock- wing
This announcement comes a few weeks after the team announced that former standout Luke Persanis was named to the College All-American east coast team.
