Foto Feature: PJC and American Legion co-host ‘Challenging Hate – Together’ program
The Pelham Jewish Center and Pelham American Legion Post 50 hosted Holocaust survivors and World War II veterans for a panel at The Picture House to remember and honor the experiences and bravery of both groups. The “Challenging Hate – Together” program included a Q&A on Sunday, the anniversary of the day the Auschwitz concentration camp was liberated.
The PJC and American Legion co-sponsored the program “in response to the rise of antisemitism and hatred in the world around us,” according to a flier for the event.
