Pelham Memorial High School

The Pelham Board of Education met briefly on Wednesday to approve the 2020-2021 Property Tax Report Card as well as the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association officers, board of directors and its 2020-2021 budget.

Board Vice President Sue Childs also noted that the board met in executive session to “discuss the employment of a particular person.”

The slate of officers approved by the board included Frank Schnecker as president of the WPSBA, and the budget totaled just over $267,000.

Regarding the Property Tax Report Card, Assistant Superintendent for Business James Hricay said “it is a requirement as part of the state budget” and after it was approved the district would report it to the New York State Department of Education within 24 hours.

He also noted the addition of the second page, which showed the schedule of reserve funds. This is the second year it was required to be added.

The full report card can be found here.
