Foto Feature: Midday lines for Pelham voters, cars in OLPH lot in Pelham Manor
Before midday, Village of Pelham residents waited to vote in a line that ran from polling place Daronco Town House down 5th Avenue, wrapped along Schwerner Way and up Harmon Avenue. Voters at the front of the line at around 11:30 a.m. said they’d been waiting for 45 minutes, while those finishing casting their votes said it took them an hour.
At Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, the polling place for Pelham Manor, there were a cluster of cars in the parking lot. There was no line outside. A voter reported a 40-minute wait inside the church.
