PELHAM, NY. On October 23, 2021 Pelham Art Center hosted its fall fundraiser Studio Café. Community members and art lovers came to support this one-of-a-kind immersive art experience co-chaired by Michelle Acosta and Julie Cepler. Event Committee members included: Jay Anderson, Jennifer Hawks Bland, Mark Crane, Jim D’Sidocky, Danielle DeVito, Lisa Garofano, Rachel Gould, Jill Kirby, Joanna McCormick, Emily Sharrock, KD Wilson, and Paula Wood.  Studio Café 2021 was proudly sponsored by COMPASS Real Estate, Bischof & Bischof, Charles Fazzino, and D. Ragno Landscaping. Additional “Friends of the Arts” sponsors included: Arthur Scinta of Houlihan Lawrence, InSight ArtSpace, Glowstone Consulting, Pomp & Whims, Pencil Projects Architectural Studio, the Gallo Family, and the Mouquin Family.

Studio Café VIP guests arrived at 6:00pm for a signature cocktail by Pomp & Whimsy and a special set by DJ Commish, plus a first view of the silent auction items. A total of 130 attendees enjoyed an evening of music, dancing, delicious food by Depot Dave, and opportunities to directly support Pelham Art Center’s operations and community initiatives. The event took place primarily in the Art Center’s outdoor tented courtyard, with guests coming inside to their comfort to view the Meditations exhibition and browse auction items ranging from original artwork to unique luxury experiences and fun prize baskets.

During the live donation drive, Pelham Art Center raised the necessary funds for a set of new iPads that will make digital art classes accessible both at the Art Center and in key outreach programs that bring art to children in surrounding communities. These direct donations uphold Pelham Art Center’s mission to provide community access to see, study, and experience the arts!

All proceeds from the event directly supported Pelham Art Center operations, scholarships, outreach, and public programs. Pelham Art Center thanks its  Studio Café sponsors, and everyone who supported the fundraiser in the form of ticket sales, auction donations and bids, raffles, and donations.
