Pelham villages offering small supplies of at-home Covid-19 test kits to residents with symptoms

December 24, 2021

Contact Village of Pelham Fire Department for at-home Covid-19 test kits

The Village of Pelham has received a small allotment of “At-Home” COVID tests from Westchester County. These tests are intended for distribution to Village residents who are actively symptomatic and unable to secure testing through other means. If you are currently symptomatic and in need of a test, please send an email to the Pelham Fire Department at [email protected] to make arrangements to pick up a test. In the email, please include, your name, address, and email address where you can be reached. Do not request a test if you are not symptomatic. We will distribute this small allotment on a first come, first serve basis.

TO REPEAT: We only have a small allotment of these tests, and they should only be requested for residents who are currently experiencing symptoms and unable to get tested through other means. We will be receiving more tests next week, and Westchester County is working to set up additional testing sites. Please do not request a test for future use. Your cooperation is appreciated.

At-home Covid-19 testing kits available at Pelham Manor Police headquarters

At-home COVID-19 testing kits will be available at 12 noon on Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) at Pelham Manor Police headquarters.

Westchester County has received an allocation of at-home COVID-19 testing kits from New York State, which will be forwarded to local municipalities. Pelham Manor will have a small number of kits to distribute, free of charge, as of noon on December 24. The County is sending these kits to local entities, due to the closure of some testing clinics through the holiday period.

If you are presently symptomatic and in need of a COVID-19 test, please call the Pelham Manor Police Department at 914-738-1000 to register to receive a free kit. Once you are registered, please have an asymptomatic friend or relative, wearing a mask, pick up the kit at Police Headquarters, at 4 Penfield Place.
