Pelham Children’s Theater, open to fifth and sixth graders, is back from its Covid-19 shutdown with the musical “Matilda Jr.”

The show will run out of the Manor Club theater, as opposed to Prospect Hill Elementary School and Pelham Memorial High School, where the program has existed for decades. “PCT is grateful to be able to lease The Manor Club’s beautiful, historical theater for this year’s production,” said PCT board member Tyson Stephens.

After not having a show for two years, or one full-run of a child’s PCT career, the show’s directors and board are thrilled to finally do another musical.

“We are one of the only organizations in town that brings the elementary school kids together, so it’s exciting that they can do a show again,” said Stephens.

Auditions for “Matilda Jr.” will be Tuesday and Wednesday and the performance dates are April 29- 30 and May 1.
