Bennett and Owen-Michaane reelected to Manor village board after running unopposed
Incumbent Trustees Bridget “Breda” Bennett and Maurice Owen-Michaane were officially reelected to the village board March 15 after facing no opponents on the ballot.
Owen-Michaane and Bennett ran on the Republican Party and the Neighborhood Party lines.
Bennet will serve a third two-year term, while Owen-Michaane was a reelected to his second.
According to Village Manager John Pierpont, who is also Pelham Manor election commissioner, total votes cast for each candidate were:
Bennett: 306 votes
Owen-Michaane: 276 votes
Both candidates were previously elected to the board on Sept. 15, 2020 when polling was delayed due to Covid-19.
