The Pelham Manor, Pelham and New Rochelle fire departments fought a house fire at 39 Edgemere St. in Pelham Manor Thursday night.
The house, which belongs to Roger and Marissa Medina-Mora, was empty at the time. According to neighbor Sophia Coscia, the homeowners were talking with neighbors when the fire started. The couple has two kids who don’t live at home and one pet cat.
It is not believed anyone was injured. The extent of the damage is unknown.
The Pelham Manor police and fire departments were called for additional information and have yet to respond.

the neighbors told me the pet cat did not survive, sadly.
I also heard that the fire dept. responded sometime around 9pm, and again around 4am. i would be interested to know what the fire department feels started the blaze.
