Film subjects Monda Wooten, host of the television show Around Town, and veterinarian and Piglet International Inc. founder Melissa Shapiro will appear following the screening for a Q&A.

The Picture House Director of Programming Clayton Bushong said “Screening a documentary like Free Puppies! is an essential part of the mission of a nonprofit, independent theater like ours. We’re thrilled to bring this story to our audiences and give them an opportunity to hear from the film’s subjects on the important rescue work they’re doing, and it’s a special treat to have Piglet join us, adding a unique immersive element to a program that we know will be a very special community event.”

Free Puppies! will screen on Sunday, September 18 at 5:00 pm at The Picture House Pelham located at 175 Wolfs Lane.
