Remember to vote in school election Tuesday: $91 million budget and four candidates for two board seats on ballot
Voting in the Pelham Union Free School District election is being held Tuesday in the Pelham Middle School gym until 9 p.m.
The school board has asked voters to approve a $91 million budget that boosts spending 7.98% from this year, while raising the tax levy by 2.07%, which is the maximum allowed by the state-tax cap.

In an email, the district offered these reminders:
- Parking restrictions have been waived on Corlies Avenue.
- Absentee ballots must be received by the district clerk by 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Absentee ballots may be deposited in the secure lockbox located in the lobby of the PMS gym.
- The annual Kids Vote will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the vestibule of the PMS main entrance. This is for Kindergarten through fifth grade students.
