June 2023 – Pelham, NY – The creative team of Clayton Bushong and Amy Cole, co-founders an collaborators at Tipsy Picnic consulting, have announced the launch of their newest venture the Tipsy Podcast Network (TPN). The network brings together some of the most interesting and dynamic storytellers from across the region. From culture seekers and makers, local business owners and entrepreneurs, and everyone in between, TPN is the home for the curious and inquisitive and an engaging platform to feature important current events and to share stories.
Tipsy Podcast Network started with The 803 Podcast, co-hosted by Bushong and Cole, which focuses on in-depth discussions of what’s happening in and around the Pelham community. The 803 launched in the spring of 2023 and highlights the organizations and people who make Pelham unique. To date, The 803 has produced and published 16 episodes covering everything from the most recent Board of Education election and the state of Pelham real estate, to dynamic conversations with everyone from Mayor Mullen, non-profit organizations, local creatives, and business owners.
“When we started The 803 Podcast Clay and I really wanted to move conversations that were often happening on social media to a new level and elevate the voices of all of the people, businesses, and organizations that make Pelham such a special place to live, work, and raise families,” said Amy Cole. “What we’ve found is that the podcast medium is one that people have really embraced and go to find information and inspiration without the noise and clutter that comes with social media.”
In addition to The 803 Podcast, TPN will be launching a number of new podcasts in the coming months. The next one in the line-up, Make Your Mark(et) launching in mid-July, focuses on the extremely talented and creative makers around the New York area. Hosted by New Rochelle jewelry maker Melissa Panszi Riebe (a force of her own in the local maker scene), each episode features a different maker and delves into their origin story, talks about their inspiration and business philosophy, and through their passion provide a creative catalyst for listeners.
More titles will be released in coming months including She the Change, hosted by Pelham Town Councilperson Kara McLoughlin.
All podcasts are produced by Jamal Pedro and can be found on Spotify.
