This beloved community tradition brings film, food trucks and dancing under the stars together for a night to remember. The end-of-summer soiree will kick off at 6:00pm in the beautifully renovated 1921 Pelham theater. After the screening, guests will head to Wolfs Lane Park directly across the street from the theater, where they will enjoy drinks, dinner from a selection of food trucks, including Leila’s, Walter’s Hot Dogs, Wing King, and Bona Ice Cream, and music provided by DJ Stephen Byfield.

It is a great fit for the spirit of the event. We’re particularly grateful to our Marquee Sponsor, Mark Link and The Link State Farm Insurance Agency, as well as vital support from other community partners.  We look forward to another memorable night!”

Marquee Sponsor Mark Link added that “The Link State Farm Insurance Agency is proud to sponsor Picnic in the Park and support The Picture House. This year’s film Netflix’s Love at First Sight is a heart-warming drama starring Haily Lu Richardson (who played Portia in White Lotus Season 2) and Ben Hardy (known for X-Men Apocalypse and Netflix’s 6 Underground). The film is based on the novel The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. A chance meeting at an airport fates the two young adults for a star-crossed romantic tale.  Netflix’s preview foreshadows: “Two strangers connect on a flight to London, only to be separated by a twist of fate. A reunion seems improbably but love has a way of defying odds.”
