Pleasantly surprised by swift efficiency of Town Justice Kagan’s court

To the editor:

I went to Pelham Town Court a few months ago to contest a wrongful ticket. The court process was so organized and so pleasant.

I felt safe as they checked my bags, and the process was faster and more organized than I anticipated. The system was a well-oiled machine. The individuals sat in the court and were called by name to the back to go over their respective tickets.

I heard them speaking with other people, very kindly and rationally as well, answering all their questions.

Judge Adam Kagan kept the process moving swiftly, and efficiently, and I was in and out within an hour. I wanted to write to share my experience because I was pleasantly surprised by my first (and hopefully only) court experience in Pelham.
