Firefighter Paul Fumo retires from Pelham Manor Fire Department after three decades of service

The Pelham Manor Fire Department, along with Fire Commissioner Tim Case, gathered to celebrate Firefighter Paul Fumo’s final walk from the Firehouse early this morning. FF Fumo is a graduate of Pelham High School and has served our community for more than thirty years. We thank him for his outstanding dedication and wish him well in retirement.

Separately, congratulations to Firefighter Daniel Higgins who graduated last week from the Westchester County Career Chiefs Fire Academy (academy). In addition to the 20 weeks of training at the academy, FF Higgins will receive one more week of in-house training before going into shift.

Editor’s note: This announcement was provided by the Village of Pelham Manor. The Pelham Examiner publishes announcements in the form received as a service to the community.
