Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Town of Pelham Public Library. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.
It may be cold inside the Library, but our warm-hearted staff are here to help you. The Library is currently closed due to lack of heat in part of the building, but we will reopen Tuesday, February 20 operating on a modified schedule until repairs to our furnace are completed. Please visit our website for updates. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Our dedicated librarians are monitoring our email and are here to answer questions regarding your account or the abundant downloadable resources you can assess from home (see below). Please write to us at [email protected]. We promise to respond promptly.
You can also access your account from home to reserve or renew books by clicking here then clicking on the sign-in button in the upper right-hand corner. Enter your current 14-digit library card number and your pin (usually the last four digits of the phone number associated with your card).
As always, the book drop located at the entrance on Carol Place is open 24/7. Items returned before February 24, 2024 will not incur any late fees.
Tuesday, February 20, 12-5pm
We will be open on a limited basis on Tuesday allowing us to continue with our Stuffed Animal Sleepover program. We are sorry, but we are at capacity and registration for this event is closed.
If using other portions of the Library please dress warmly. Staff will be available in person and via phone for all of your circulation and reference needs. All library services including notary and printing will be available during our open hours.
Wednesday February 21, 1-5 pm
The Library will be open from 1-5 pm on Wednesday. Our scheduled Kids’ Craft: Bracelet Making will take place in the heated program room from 1-2pm. This is a drop in program and no registration is necessary.
Thursday, February 22, TBD
We are crossing our fingers that the repairs to our furnace will be completed on Thursday. Please check our website and social media (Facebook and Instagram) for updates on our Thursday hours.
