The annual Pelham Memorial High School Battle of the Bands took place last Friday. Despite some technical difficulties and a longer than intended run time, the event ran smoothly, and MC Kira Findikyan made sure to keep the energy up with her jokes.
The Battle of the Bands is a creative outlet for young artists at PMHS, giving them a chance to perform. From rock music to a piano solo, the audience got a bit of everything. Attendees saw 15 groups and solo artists play, including Static Youth, Ginsburg & McFarland, Cecilia & Keilana, Grace, Taya, Pig, Jake & Liam, Sade, Christian & Jake, Two Minutes to Midnight, Leo I Garcia, Dead 5, 7th Ave, The Delay and Backbone of Society.
