The Pelham Booster Club, which was founded by parents to support the athletic, academic, and social programs within Pelham Memorial High School, hosted its 44th annual Senior Sports Awards dinner on Thursday, June 4, celebrating all graduating student-athletes for their commitment to the school and its sports programs.
The boosters gave out a range of tributes and awards to the seniors, starting with certificates for athletes who particiapted within one, two, or three sports across their high school career. Other awards included the “Heart and Hustle Award” and individual honors bestowed by the Booster Club, such as the esteemed “athlete of the year” award. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a total of 30 athletes received formal recognition for demonstrating strong character as well as athletic ability through their years at PMHS.
The speakers of the evening included Andrea Montano, co-president of the boosters; former varsity hockey star Marc Flory; Athletic Director Joe Toombs, and select coaches of Pelham athletics. Additionally, the boosters recognized outstanding athletes of the rising 9th grade class , including Jack Moore (hockey), Sive Jefferies (soccer), Joey Capalija (soccer), Dylan Gatchalian (lacrosse), Riley Stano (lacrosse), Grace Curley (softball), Jackson Koupal (baseball), Adam Ali (basketball), and Madison Smithmeyer (basketball).

- The Pelham Youth Lacrosse Humphrey Scholarship for Boys – Kamol Frederick
- The Pelham Youth Lacrosse Veteri Scholarship for Girls – Parker Koupal
- The Kathy Florio Award (Pelham Little League) – Ben Pollock
- Unsung Hero (Witz) Award – Mackenzie Peterson, Addison Matyko
