Dear Pelham Community,

On May 2, 2024, the Pelham Community is invited to view a special Holocaust exhibit titled “Courage to Remember” that will be on display in the Pelham Memorial High School Blue Gym. The exhibit will be on display from 5:30-7pm and will be immediately followed by a lecture from Steven Goldberg, Director of Education for the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center in White Plains.

“Courage to Remember” was created in Los Angeles by the Simon Wiesenthal Center and offers compelling new insight into the Holocaust. The exhibit features graphic panels exploring four major themes:

  • Nazi Germany, 1933-1938
  • Moving Toward the “Final Solution,” 1939-1941
  • Annihilation in Nazi-occupied Europe, 1941-1945
  • Liberation – Building New Lives

After viewing the exhibit, attendees are welcome to attend Mr. Goldberg’s talk, “Exploring the Symbols & Language of Hate” in PMHS Alumni Hall.

Both events are free and open to the public. Anyone who plans to attend the lecture is asked to please RSVP via ParentSquare using the link below as space is limited. RSVP is not necessary to see the exhibit only.

This event is sponsored by the Pelham Public Schools Humanities Department and Pelham Memorial High School.

Please RSVP for this event.
