PMHS alum Kate Douglass won the silver medal Saturday in the women’s 200m individual medley (IM), posting a time of 2:06.92.
Douglass collected her first Olympic medal—a bronze—at the 2021 Tokyo games in same event.
Douglass has now earned three medals at the Paris Olympics. She won her first ever gold on Thursday swimming the 200m breaststroke and silver with Team USA in the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay earlier in the week.
The Pelham native has one event remaining on Sunday afternoon: The women’s 4x100m medley relay.
During the 200m IM, U.S. teammate Alex Walsh was disqualified for an illegal transition from backstroke to breaststroke.
