Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Village of Pelham. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.
Please be advised that the Village of Pelham will commence work tomorrow, August 14th, at 8:00 a.m. to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection of Wolfs Lane and Sparks Avenue. The Village has retained Verde Electric Maintenance Corporation to install new ADA-accessible ramps, create a new crosswalk across Wolfs Lane, and modify the pedestrian signals at the intersection. The work will continue through the end of this month.
We do not anticipate significant roadway closures, but drivers should expect slower vehicular traffic and portions of the sidewalk will be blocked periodically near Tig & Peach and J Cafe. We appreciate your patience and cooperation and apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call Village Hall at 914-738-2015 or e-mail [email protected].
