Editor’s note: This announcement was provided by the Pelham Manor Career Firefighters Benevolent Association.

The Pelham Manor Career Firefighters Benevolent Association will be running its annual food and toy drive. The toy drive will benefit Community Services Associates, Inc. (Hope Soup Kitchen). The toy drive will benefit the Maria Farrari Children’s Hospital and Blythedale Children’s Hospital. These donations and supplies can be dropped off at Pelham Manor Fire Headquarters located at 4 Penfield Place in Pelham Manor.

At this time, donations for the food drive can include, but not limited to: paper/plastic products such as utensils, cups, plates, napkins, aluminum foil, sandwich bags and cleaning products that include sponges, garbage bags, dishwashing liquids, hairnets, soap, sponges, bleach and gloves. Food products that will be accepted are canned goods, powered drinks, cereal and other non-perishable foods.

Donations to the toy drive that are being accepted are new unwrapped toys or other gifts to provide a smile on the faces of the less fortunate and under privileged children during the holidays.

Monetary donations are also being accepted. We will be accepting donations throughout the holiday season.

Please help make this year’s food and toy drive just as successful as the ones in years past
