State Sen. Biaggi to speak at Manor Club Oct. 21 on legislative session

Democratic State Senator Alessandra Biaggi  a first-term legislator who has successfully passed legislation in a variety of areas, will speak at The Manor Club on Monday, October 21 at 7:30pm on “The 2019 Legislative Session and What Is to Come.”

The event is open to the public.

Senator Biaggi represents her home district (District 34–Bronx/Westchester) where her family has lived for four generations. She is a graduate of Pelham schools, NYU , Fordham Law School, and the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University.

Among her recent bills approved by the State legislature and signed by Gov. Cuomo is one to extend the statute of limitations of rape and other sex crimes, and another to provide training for children to identify and appropriately respond to sexual abuse.
