Foto Feature: Scary windows created by kids for Pelham Rec Halloween art program
The Pelham Recreation Department held its annual Halloween poster-painting contest. It was open to all kids who live in the town. Every person who entered got a prize, so everyone was a winner.
All the work had to be submitted on Oct. 21 before 4 p.m. The posters are now displayed in the windows of Pelham’s stores.
“There are different merchants like Pelham Pizza or Villagio’s,” said Diane Bartley, the program supervisor for the recreation department. “All the posters were awesome.”
Twenty-five students contributed work this year, Bartley said. The prizes came from Pelham Pizzeria and Double Rainbow Ice Cream.
