With a time of 43.96 seconds, seniors Nick Massaregli, Lebron Richardson, Kristian Howell and junior Manny Idowu shattered the PMHS 4×100 record that had stood for 23 years, placing first at the Coach Sing Invite track meet in White Plains on Wednesday

They topped Archbishop Stepinac, White Plains, Clarkstown South and Rye Country Day.

Following their winter season breaking records, Massaregli, Idowu, and Howell teamed up again after running the 4×100 together last spring.

Howell said, “All it took really was just practice and really getting to know our squad to develop that trust and chemistry. We really weren’t looking to go break the record… so we just went out and ran it with no pressure or worries.”

With the spring season now underway, the boys will look to beat their new record at their next meet on Friday at Icahn Stadium in New York City.
