“Looking to the November 2020 Election” will be the topic of a Zoom talk by Beth Fouhy, Senior Politics Editor at NBC News and MSNBC, on Tuesday, October 13 at 7:30pm sponsored by The Manor Club.

Ms. Fouhy will give a presentation, and Maggie Klein, Community Relations Chairman of The Manor Club, will then read questions submitted via Chat directed to Ms. Fouhy. The meeting is open to the public and free of charge.

Ms. Fouhy, a resident of Pelham, helps lead political coverage across all platforms. at NBC News and MSNBC, She regularly appears on camera as a guest on MSNBC shows.

Ms. Fouhy has covered politics for three decades across the television, print and digital spheres. She began her news career at CNN in Washington, where she served as an executive producer, writer and reporter. She produced several of CNN’s signature daily programs including Crossfire and Inside Politics. She served as executive producer of the network’s political unit during the 2000 presidential contest and historic recount.

She joined The Associated Press in 2003 and spent nearly a decade there as a national political reporter. She led the AP’s coverage of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008, and was later assigned to follow the Republican ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin. Beth traveled with candidates to 40 states, Colombia and Mexico that year. During the 2012 campaign, she led the AP’s media and money reporting beat.

She graduated with honors from Oberlin College and was a Knight Fellow at Stanford University. She has received several awards for her work, including the New York Press Club Award for Political Reporting and the Front Page Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York for Wire Service Beat Reporting.
