Graffiti with racial, possibly anti-gay themes left near Pelham teen party site

Graffiti with racial and possibly anti-gay themes has been sprayed on an abandoned railroad bridge near a Pelham teen party site in the Split Rock Golf Course in the Bronx. The graffiti has been there since mid-December, according to one observer.

One tag reads “Welcome” (not pictured) followed on another bridge pane  by “White kids of Pelham.” Another reads “the homersexualz, but not in a gay way” and features a picture of Homer Simpson.

The bridge near “The Woods,” as the golf course is known by Pelham Memorial High School students who use it for drinking parties, has been the site for graffiti tags by partiers in the past. However, it is not known who painted these particular messages.
