Section 1 of the New York Public High School Athletic Association announced the playoff brackets for three sports on Thursday. Pelham Memorial High School will send its varsity girls lacrosse team, boys lacrosse team and softball team to the section playoffs.

Boys Lacrosse

The boys lacrosse team are slated to face off against Westlake High School on Friday at Glover Field. This matchup will be an eight-seed (Pelham) vs a nine-seed (Westlake) in the Class C bracket. Pelham comes into this game with eight wins and six losses. Their most recent win comes against Westlake as they won by one goal in an overtime setting. The winner of this game will head to Sleepy Hollow on Monday to face the number one seed.

Girls Lacrosse

After winning their league with nine wins and six losses on Wednesday, the girl’s lacrosse team now heads to Hendrick Hudson High School on June 8. This will be a four vs five seed matchup in the Class C tournament with Pelham in the five seed slot. The girls played Hendrick Hudson earlier in the year and lost 12-8. Now, they look to avenge that loss and advance to the third round against Sleepy Hollow, barring an upset in that game.

Softball

The softball team will host Our Lady of Lords (OLL) on Friday, June 4th. The team ended the season with a record of seven wins and eleven losses, which qualified them to be the seventh seed in the Class A2 tournament. The winner of this game will then head to Pearl River to take on the second-seeded Pirates. This will be the first meeting between Pelham and OLL this year.

Baseball

The baseball team will start their postseason run on Monday, June 7th. As a three seed in the Class A2 tournament, they have a bye into the second round. The team finished the regular season with twelve wins and seven losses, which propelled them into the spot they’re in. The Pelicans will face the winner of Pearl River and Ardsley.

*Update: Pearl River defeated Ardsley and will travel to Glover Field Monday
