Kelly and Gutch recognized as Rotary Scholars of the Month in January

Pelham Memorial High School seniors Austin Kelly and Charles Gutch were recognized as Marilyn Stiefvater Scholars of the Month by the Rotary Club of the Pelhams in January.

Austin Kelly is a National Merit Commended Scholar. He is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the English, Spanish and Tri-M Music honor societies. He is active in Sock ‘n’ Buskin and SOOP theater groups and participated in the Young Playwrights Festival, Battle of the Bands, Summerfest and Couchfest. His volunteer activities have included mission trips with Huguenot Memorial Church.

Charles Gutch is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the English, math, science and history honor societies. He is captain the PMHS varsity basketball team and he also played soccer. His volunteer activities have included work with the Scouts. He was employed at the concession stand at The Picture House and now is a projectionist there.
