Theresa Irene Raffio, born December 19th, 1924 in New Rochelle, NY, passed away on March 2nd, 2023 at 98 years of age. Daughter of Wilfred and Julia Glean, Theresa was one of 9 children. A graduate from New Rochelle High School. She would later meet her husband Louis Raffio Sr, marry and move to Pelham where they raised their two children Louis and Kenneth. Theresa worked for A&P in Pelham for many years, retired and then moved back to New Rochelle. She had a strong work ethic, loved her job and always enjoyed spending time surrounded by her family and friends. She will be remembered taking her boys with her sister, Helen, to Jones Beach every Sunday during the summer.

Theresa is survived by her sister Joyce Glean of Poughkeepsie, NY, brother Ronald Glean of Sacramento, CA, two sons, Louis Raffio Jr. (Lynne) of Palmetto, FL., Kenneth Raffio (Mayra) of Pelham, NY and three grandchildren, Chiara, Kyle and Colin Raffio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen, Darlene, brothers Stedman, Jim, Eric and Joseph Glean.

A celebration of Theresa’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Thursday, March 23rd from 4-8 pm. A Memorial Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church located at 559 Pelham Manor Rd., Pelham NY on Friday, March 24th at 10:00am.
