Pelham Manor board reviews $18.2 million proposed budget, sets public hearing on plan for Monday
The Village of Pelham Manor Board of Trustees took up consideration March 27 of a tentative $18.2 million budget for 2023-24 that reduces spending .64%.
“We have had the opportunity to review the proposed budget,” said Mayor Jennifer Monachino Lapey. She thanked Village Manager Lindsey Luft for all the work put into the spending plan. “It is a year-round effort,” the mayor said.
The homestead tax increase in the budget is 1.24%, below the 2% state cap. The village’s fiscal year begins June 1.
The board voted to hold the required public hearing on the budget at its meeting on Monday at 8:15 p.m.
