PMHS boys lacrosse defeats White Plains 18-2, keeps win streak alive
The PMHS boys lacrosse team took down White Plains in commanding fashion, securing an 18-2 victory against a promising side. This match marks the Pelicans third straight win at home, with the previous two being against Tappan Zee and Fox Lane.
Wednesday’s matchup against the Tigers saw the Pelicans in full force. Senior captain Chris Franchini led the way for Pelham with 4 goals, with aid coming from fellow senior Callum Reen in the form of three goals and two assists. Pelham was all over the scoreboard in their biggest win this season, with points coming from 12 different players. Junior goalie Charlie Zabatta helped protect the nest in goal, saving 4/4 shots.
Pelham moves on to face New Rochelle away from home on April 14. The Pelicans hope to seal their first away win of the season, and to extend their winning streak to four consecutive games.
