PMHS boys lacrosse team upsets undefeated Pleasantville in 8-7 thriller
The Pelicans upset the undefeated Pleasantville Panthers Tuesday in a thrilling game that went down to the wire. Pleasantville entered the game ranked 17th in the nation by U.S.A. Lacrosse magazine.
With wins against strong programs such as Harrison and Briarcliff, the Pelicans continue to exceed this season’s expectations.
Sophomore Reid Finster led the way for Pelham with an impressive 3 goals and 2 assists. Senior Chris Franchini and junior Will Crotty had 2 goals each. Senior Callum Reen chalked up 2 assists, reaching 100 career points in a must-win match.
The Pelicans hope to continue their success against Mamaroneck on Monday.
