Pearl Dynastea: Pelham’s new and fast growing bubble tea shop

For years, Pelham’s beloved Double Rainbow, which had served award-winning ice cream to hundreds of customers weekly, had resided in the heart of Pelham. After closing on the Oct. 21, the area was due and planned out to become another food joint in Pelham. This September, that plan was completed, resulting in the highly anticipated opening of Pearl Dynastea.

Shortly after its arrival to Pelham, I decided to see if the new boba shop lived up to the craze. Immediately, I was greeted kindly by the staff, who took orders exceptionally efficiently and with genuine smiles on their faces. Their menu had an assortment of teas, milks, and boba flavors. It highlighted favorites such as the Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte and Matcha Latte, as well as an opportunity for any shopper to customize their own drink to their personal preferences. Another perk offered is a loyalty card system, which are located at the front counter and completely free to any customer. After purchasing ten drinks from Pearl Dynastea, patrons receive a free drink!

Personally, I haven’t had enough bubble tea in my lifetime to know what’s exceptional and what’s mediocre. With that said, Pearl Dynstea exceeded my expectations. Aside from the cleanliness and general atmosphere of the shop, the workers, service and drinks were exceptional. There was no mess, the music was calming and didn’t at all interfere with communication, and there was chill aesthetic throughout the entire experience. Within around 3 minutes, three drinks were ready in a rapud and flawless manner. The workers completed every part of their job with a smile and seemed genuinely excited to be interacting with customers.

Unsure of how I was going to react, I took my drink and immediately fell in love. For reference, I ordered strawberry milk tea with strawberry boba. Depending on your preference, you can get a 16oz drink or a 22oz drink. I decided on the 22oz and absolutely everything about the drink was perfect. It was around $8 with tax, but every cent was worth it in my opinion. It tasted amazing, and I finished the whole thing within five minutes.

After I’d gathered my own opinions regarding the place, I decided to speak to some customers who seemed to share my fondness for the place.

“One of the best I’ve had,” said one excited customer.  “The place itself is very nice and decorative, and extremely aesthetically pleasing.”

“It was very clean,” said another customer. “The workers were so kind and the service was extremely fast. The drink was so good and fresh.”

Despite the disappointing closure of Double Rainbow, it seems as though Pearl Dynastea could be the new hit in Pelham. It has been met with overwhelming popularity among customers of all ages. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out if you’re in search of a place to unwind and enjoy some very well-crafted bubble tea.
