Rotary Club of the Pelhams and Junior League of Pelham announced the cancellation of plans for the Jan. 21 Taste of Pelham event listed on the Community Calendar of the Pelhams. If and when another Tastings event will be scheduled is uncertain.

Rotary also announced that proceeds of its 2022 Tastings XVI wine and food fundraiser were distributed as follows: $10,000 to the Rotary Gift of Life program for a medical mission to Ukraine for heart surgeries for children, $2,000 to Pelham Together, $1,000 to Pelham Art Center for student scholarships in memory of Charlotte Mouquin, $500 to the Joy Project coat drive for children at Montifiore Hospital New Rochelle and $300 to Pelham Little League.

In addition to its Tastings fundraisers to raise money for the Gift of Life and Pelham area youth programs, Rotary Club of the Pelhams raises funds for an annual $15,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating Pelham Memorial High School senior. Applications for the scholarship will be available through the PMHS Guidance Department in the spring.
