Rotary Club of the Pelhams has sent a postcard Community Appeal to all residents and businesses in Zip Code 10803 asking for help in funding Rotary Gift of Life heart surgery for children overseas, donations to Pelham area youth programs and the $15,000 Rotary Scholarship to be awarded to a graduating PMHS senior in June.

The postcard appeal replaces a Tastings wine and food fundraiser that has been held annually at Pelham Country Club with more than 15 eateries participating and a wine tasting sponsored by Blue Dog Wine and Spirits. It also replaces a mailed appeal for help in funding the annual Rotary scholarship.

Applications for the scholarship are now available through the PMHS Guidance Department.
