Families gathered inside the Siwanoy gymnasium on Friday and filled the upper and lower playground areas for the annual Siwanoy Spring Fling.
The event and fundraiser run by the schools’ Parent-Teacher Association celebrated the end of the school year. Despite a temporary hiatus on activities due to a 30-minute downpour, families were happy to enjoy an evening of carnival games, food, bounce houses, and the tradition of “Cake Wars,” a competition in which groups of students decorate cakes under a certain theme in hopes of winning a prize.
