Village of Pelham Manor Mayor Jennifer L. Monachino Lapey and Trustees Timothy M. Case and Daniel W. (D.J.) McLaughlin Jr. will seek re-election on November 4, 2025, according to Mary Beth Mullins, Chair of the Pelham Manor Republican Committee.
“These dedicated public servants provide critical local services and focus on issues close to home. They are incredibly responsive and have a demonstrated record of putting our community first,” explained Ms. Mullins. The candidates will run on the independent Neighborhood Party line, as well as the Republican line.
Mayor Monachino Lapey grew up in Pelham Manor and is a practicing attorney who led local nonprofit organizations, including the Pelham Preservation & Garden Society and the Pelham Country Club, before seeking office. She elaborated, “I’m passionate about serving the residents of Pelham Manor. The Village provides high-level police, fire, and DPW services that touch our lives, and we do so in a fiscally responsible manner. I’m thrilled to work with Tim and D.J. to improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors.”
A 25-year resident of Pelham Manor, Trustee Case is trained as an accountant and ran the trading desk for a hedge fund. He currently serves as Fire Commissioner in Pelham Manor, having previously served as a Town Councilman and Town Clerk. After many years of service to the Pelham Civic Association, he now heads that organization as President. “Giving back to the Village where I raised my children has been an honor, and I welcome the opportunity to serve for two more years,” added Trustee Case.
Trustee McLaughlin was raised in Pelham Manor and works professionally in foreign exchange trading. He served with distinction on the Pelham Manor Zoning Board of Appeals prior to his election to the Village Board in 2023. His Village duties include oversight of administration, finance, and planning, as well as inter-governmental relations. “I loved growing up in Pelham Manor and returned here to raise my young family. I am excited about the possibility of continuing my service to this Village.” stated Trustee McLaughlin.
