Pelham, NY – November 21, 2018 – Enjoy a little holiday shopping to yourself while the kids enjoy filmmaking and pizza at The Picture House (TPH) at FANTASTIC FILMS – a one-day workshop all about fantasy stories on film on Saturday, December 1st from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Inspired by the highly-anticipated release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, students will watch clips of classic kids fantasy films, learn about how they’re made, and then students in grades K-2 and 3-5 will work separately and together to make their own short fantasy film. This one-day workshop is a great opportunity for story tellers, budding actors, and kids who are interested in how film works behind the scenes and behind the camera, to stretch their imaginations and flex their creative muscles.

The FANTASTIC FILMS workshop will take place at The Picture House, 175 Wolfs Lane and includes completion of the film project and pizza lunch from Pizzeria LaRosa. Each enrolled student will also receive a free ticket to a regularly scheduled screening of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald during the weekend of December 1-2.
