The Town of Pelham is proud to announce its first ever Sustainability Advisory Board, which was created by resolution during the February 9, 2026 Board meeting. The SAB will provide insight to the Town Board about sustainability efforts in Town buildings, property, and operations. The Board will serve as a coordinating and information-sharing forum among the Town, the Villages, the School District, and community-based organizations — particularly around education, best practices, data-sharing, and funding opportunities.
Theresa Mohan, newly elected Town Supervisor, said “This Sustainability Advisory Board is designed to be hands-on and practical — focused on real opportunities, shared learning, and thoughtful coordination across Pelham. We’re looking for residents who are curious, collaborative, and interested in helping the Town identify smart, achievable sustainability solutions.” If you are interested in being considered a community member participant, please click here to find a link to the full resolution with all SAB responsibilities, as well as an application. If you have any questions, please contact the Town Clerk’s office at [email protected], or by calling 914-738-0777.
