More than 50 stalwart soccer fans showed up at the Pelham Picture House for the US men’s national team World Cup match against Belgium Monday night, cheering the team in its bid to make it to the tournament’s final eight for the first time in history. It was not to be, as a relentless Belgium squad eliminated the US by a score of 4-1. The Picture House also hosted a watch party last Wednesday, where the US eliminated Bosnia-Herzegovina in a 2-1 nailbiter.
